Day 12
I wrote a poem today, but its content is too personal to post. You know those poems you write when you're angry and the poem names the person making you angry? Yeah, it's one of those. Probably this poem a day stuff is good for me because otherwise I don't think I'd have written about this at all, but I'd have been too irritated to write about much else as long as this was still in the way, etc. It's outta the way now!
In addition to writing the angry poem today, I bought a new sweater and a pair of sweats. I haven't bought sweats in years, but I'm hoping the addition to my closet will remind me to exercise.

I'm glad you could use poetry to express your feelings and "get it out of your system". I have done that once or twice myself.

Sometimes it does help. I should perhaps keep a private folder of "poetry as therapy" poems, to be distinguished from everything else. Sometimes I can turn highly emotional content into a poem that is fine for other people to read, but sometimes it's better left in the notebook. I appreciate you reading my little poems every day.
